We are forever grateful for the donations we receive from our supporters, it is because of that generosity that we are able to rescue the animals that we do, month in month out. Each month we put up a gallery of some of the fortunate faces of the month's rescues. A massive THANK YOU from us, and especially from them.
Duke came in to us as a stray in terrible condition. We were unsure if he has been starved or has a medical condition that has not been addressed, either way his condition is appalling. We’re concentrating on getting him feeling better at the moment, although he is already putting on weight and feeling much better in himself. He is a sweet natured boy who is enjoying human kindness and cuddles, something he hasn't had in quite some time. It always amazes us how dogs like this can still be trusting and able to show love to humans after being treated so badly by them.
Please wish him well as he has obviously had a tough time, lucky Duke has just started his journey to a happy life.
Great news for Kiki
Kiki came into the care of New Hope in April 2018 after already spending 4 years in kennels at another rescue.
She was said to be a tricky girl that didn't trust easily and needed "a bit of work"
Well after nearly 3 years at our kennels she has finally got a chance at a new and happy life. We have all worked so hard to get her where she is today and the day has come, it has all payed off. The meets started really well and there are a few more to go before she leaves us. This girl is so loyal to me and she is a happy girl but I just want more for her and I know she can do better. I would only ever let KiKi go forward to a better life and it is quite honestly going to break my heart, but that is rescue and finding the very best for the dogs in our care is paramount.
